JunctiqBot
JunctiqBot is the web client of Junctiq PVT LTD, New Delhi, India. It fetches public pages where software companies state their terms, prices and policies, so that Junctiq can record a fingerprint of what each page served and when.
How it identifies itself
Every request sends this User-Agent:
JunctiqBot/1.0 (+https://www.junctiq.com/bot)
Before 22 October 2026 its requests presented a desktop browser string while robots.txt was read for JunctiqBot. Records made before that date say so.
What it does and does not do
- It reads robots.txt first, and does not fetch a page that robots.txt disallows for JunctiqBot.
- It sends a plain request. It does not log in, use cookies or credentials, run scripts, or solve challenges.
- It fetches each listed page on a fixed schedule, no more often than about once an hour.
How to stop it
Add this to your site’s robots.txt:
User-agent: JunctiqBot Disallow: /
Or write to hello@junctiq.com with the pages concerned, or use the contact page. Requests about records already made are handled under the same address.
