Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plaintext passwords.
We collect usage data to operate the service: which opportunities you view, when you access the platform, and subscription status. This data is used solely to deliver the service and is never sold.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Paddle. Junctiq does not store or see your full card details.
How We Use Your Information
To authenticate you and maintain your session.
To enforce your subscription tier and weekly usage quota.
To send transactional emails: welcome email, weekly digest, and payment receipts. You can opt out of digests at any time.
To improve the engine pipeline using aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use the following sub-processors to operate the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Paddle (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Google Gemini (AI processing — only anonymised signal data, never user identifiers, is sent to Gemini).
Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days.
Anonymised, aggregated signal data (not linked to any user) may be retained indefinitely to improve the engine.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. Database data is encrypted at rest.
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only. We use server-side authentication for all sensitive operations.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@junctiq.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use a single HttpOnly, Secure session cookie to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
If you enable analytics (PostHog), a first-party cookie may be set to track product usage anonymously within the Junctiq platform only.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date below and, for material changes, notify you by email.
